Job Description
We have been retained to find Journeyman Mechanics in various industries.
Heavy Equipment: Preferred experience with either Komatsu, Cat or Volvo . Must be at a Journeyman level, factory certs. Experienced in Undercarriage, Powertrain and Electronics.
Current job locations throughout the Southwest, West and Pacific Northwest. Must be willing to re-locate.
Qualified candidates must have 3+ years of successful hands-on experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, diagnostics, and be very experienced with the latest electronically controlled machines.
Must be able to fully comprehend hydraulic and electrical schematics with a history of successful troubleshooting and technical experience.
Heavy Duty Diesel Preferred experience with DD, Mercedes, Cummins, Cat and Navistar. Must be factory certified and have copies of certifications. Experiences in engine rebuilds and bumper to bumper repairs. Knowledge of failure analysis, not parts changers.
Power Generation: Preferred experience in Cat, Cummins, DD and Mercedes.
Electrical background is required, not only engine but switch gear, etc.
Current job locations throughout the Southwest, West and Pacific Northwest. Must be willing to re-locate.
All Positions:
Must maintain daily service reports, equipment status reports, and is competent in MS Excel / Word / Outlook (email) for technical questions with equipment manufacturers and suppliers.
Must be able to communicate professionally and in a service-oriented manner, both written and verbally, to: customers, vendors, manufacturers, etc. for technical questions and support.
Valid driver's license, clean DMV and background check are required for this position.
Must be able to operate a laptop computer for service reports and time reporting.
Basic tool set required for position; Company will provide some specialty tools/equipment.
Must have ability to complete written service reports and report time worked.
