Job Summary
? Greets and assists patients. Performs clerical tasks, as assigned, including but not limited to answering phones, scheduling appointments, processing payments from patients, filing, calling insurance company for verifications, completing forms and data entry. Assists in the organization and administration of company objectives and policies.
General Accountabilities
? Greets patients and ascertains name and other pertinent information. Notifies appropriate employee of patient's arrival.
? Answers telephone(s). Determining if caller can be helped by receptionist or if needs to be routed to another person. Routes calls for employees as appropriate
? Accurately takes and delivers messages.
? Maintains log of all calls requiring further action.
? Retrieves and processes mail.
? Performs a variety of routine clerical tasks (may include processing of incoming and outgoing mail, sending and delivering FAX messages, scanning, and photocopying, etc.).
? Assures that reception area is clean and orderly.
Job Qualifications
? Education: High School Diploma or equivalent substitute
? Experience: 2-5 years preferred but not required
? Sales and/or Medical experience preferred but not required
? Well kept manner
? Warm friendly and enthusiastic demeanor
