We are currently seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician for our property in Tehachapi. This is a full-time position with full benefits. $12.00 to $15.00 per hour. Compensation is based upon experience
Qualified candidates will have great customer service skills, 1 3 years background in apartment maintenance, problem-solving skills, and clear communication skills. As a Maintenance Technician you will be directly working with all technical aspects of our apartment community.
Skills needed to be successful in this position:
Excellent customer service skills required
Plumbing and light electrical repairs
Turning units to include painting, and or repairs
Light carpentry
Basic knowledge of all hand and power tools
Grounds and light cleaning duties
Must be available for on-call rotation
Willing to help out at sister properties when needed
HVAC experience or certification, preferred, but not required
Required:
Valid Driver s License, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
